Pediatric surgery is a subspecialty of surgery involving surgery of foetuses, infants, children, adolescents,and young adults.

Our paediatric surgery team
Dr. Nakib has worked as a paediatric surgeon in Lebanon and Italy for nearly 20 years. He joined us from his position as consultant paediatric surgeon at the IRCCS Fondazione Policlinico San Matteo, Pavia, Italy which has more than 1,000 beds. He graduated from the University of Pavia, Italy from where he also gained his Diploma in Paediatric Surgery. Dr. Nakib received his French fellowship from the Claude-Bernard University in Lyon and his Masters in Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Bologna, Italy. His specialities include gastroenterological and urological pediatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery, pediatric robotic surgery and paediatric bariatric surgery. He speaks English, Arabic, French and Italian.
